| Raised in Paris by an artist engraver father and a poet mother, his openness to art, beauty and sexuality led him naturally to erotic photography by the time Dahmane was fifteen. | ![]() Click to view gallery |

Set in public environments, from a Bourgeois dinner party to urban streets, from the shipyards to factory warehouses, from under a bridge to deep in the woods, the montaged images Dahmane creates juxtapose a naked intimacy with public exposition. |
| Dreamy French sexuality combines with svelte dominatrices and nymph-like subs in his manufactured dreamscapes. The nude is simultaneously the focal point of desire and a surreal symbol. | ![]() Click to view gallery |

Dahmane began exploring cityscapes on a trip to Vienna, where he saw perfect light play with and slowly reveal the city. Ever since, he sees each cityscape as a secret setting for his erotic compositions, whether it's in Delhi, Prague or Los Angeles. |
| The process of creating his photomontages is painstaking. Dahmane shoots his models in open air over the course of a day with a Leica reflex camera, a 55mm lens and conventional film. After traditional photo printing of what he feels are the best shots, he brings them into his computer for endless Photoshop work to match proportions, luminosity, perspective, texture, etc. | ![]() Click to view gallery |
